The state government’s continuous plan in upgrading the credibility of public services has reached another level. With the recently launched “Competency Identification” or “CI” - a model framed to identify the gap between personal competency and the competency of position held currently by the State Secretary, Datuk Amar Haji Abdul Aziz Husain, the state government is optimistic in enhancing its standard of service delivery to the clients.

Ke Arah Bintulu Yang Lebih Mesra & Indah

Pelaksanaan projek Bintulu Waterfront Promenade di tebingan Sungai Kemena sepanjang kira-kira 2.1 kilometer bakal menjadi satu lagi tarikan utama pelancong serta warga Bintulu di bandar ini. Tebingan ini kelak bukan sahaja menjadi tumpuan utama warga Bintulu dan orang luar malah ia menyediakan tebingan sungai yang kondusif serta terancang jika dibandingkan dengan keadaan masa sekarang.

IKM akan dibina di Bintulu

Sebuah lagi Institut Kemahiran Majlis Amanah Rakyat (IKM) akan dibina di Bintulu di bawah Rancangan Malaysia Kelapan, kata Ketua Pengarah Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) Dato' Zamani Mohd Nor. Sebuah tapak seluas 70 ekar di simpang jalan ke Sebauh Bintulu sudah dikenalpasti bagi pembinaan projek yang mendapat peruntukan RM45 juta, katanya.

Skim Rondaan Sukarela Rukun Tetangga di Miri

Kejayaan empat Rukun Tetangga (RT) di Miri menubuhkan Skim Rondaan Sukarela (SRS) merupakan satu berita baik untuk masyarakat Miri keseluruhannya, walaupun mungkin berita buruk bagi penjenayah-penjenayah. Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Maximus Johnity Ongkili ketika melancarkan program ini berkata, SRS membuktikan bahawa warga Miri boleh bersatu hati dan ini secara langsung menunjukkan masyarakat Miri tidak tunduk kepada penjenayah.

Pertandingan Futsal Bahagian Sri Aman 2004 yang diadakan di Stadium Mini Sri Aman bermula 21 hingga 30 Jun lalu dianggap berjaya mencungkil bakat-bakat baru di kalangan belia di bahagian ini.

Pustaka Negeri Naik Taraf Empat Perpustakaan Desa Di Utara Sarawak

Pustaka Negeri akan melaksanakan empat projek besar bagi menaik taraf perpustakaan desa di bahagian utara Sarawak pada tahun ini bagi merapatkan jurang Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi (ICT) kalangan masyarakat luar bandar dengan masyarakat bandar. Ketua Pegawai Eksekutifnya, Puan Rashidah Haji Bolhassan berkata, Kerajaan Pusat bersama dengan Kerajaan Negeri akan dibiayai projek berkenaan yang bertujuan bagi membolehkan masyarakat luar bandar turut serta dalam program celik ICT.

ePerolehan Boleh Kesan Syarikat Yang Disenaraihitamkan

Kerajaan yakin boleh mengesan syarikat-syarikat yang disenaraihitam melalui sistem ePerolehan, kata Setiausaha Persekutuan Sarawak Datuk Isa Kassim. Melalui sistem ini, beliau berkata, syarikat-syarikat tidak berpeluang menggunakan sebarang cara yang tidak sah untuk mendapatkan perolehan apabila maklumat peribadi direkodkan secara talian.

SS Meets With Statutory Bodies and Local Authorities

YB Datuk Amar Haji Abdul Aziz Haji Husain, the State Secretary (SS), with an entourage of 60 consisting of various Heads of Departments (HODs) - Permanent Secretaries, Directors and Residents - held two meetings with Statutory Bodies and Local Authorities in Sarawak at Lawas and Limbang respectively from 1 to 3 August 2004.
