Kediaman Mampu Dimiliki Rakyat
Berpuas hati…Kelihatan Perdana Menteri, YAB Datuk Patinggi Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi meninjau salah sebuah rumah mesra rakyat di Taman Mesra Bako, Kuching selepas merasmikan projek (Rumah Mesra rakyat) RMR di kawasan berkenaan pada 18 April 2006 yang lepas.

Kerajaan Negeri menetapkan lima (5) teras utama dalam pelaksanaan RMK9 bagi Sarawak yang antara lainnya untuk memastikan kualiti hidup yang lebih baik, untuk mengimbangi ketidaksamaan antara wilayah dan kumpulan serta peningkatan kemahiran perlu dijadikan panduan berguna bagi kakitangan awam untuk menjayakannya.

e-SKM Rancakkan Pembangunan,Percepat Urusan Pentadbiran

Pengenalan sistem teknologi maklumat dan komunikasi (ICT) yang baru iaitu “e-Sistem Ketua Masyarakat” atau e-SKM akan merancakkan lagi pembangunan dan mempercepatkan urusan pentadbiran Perkhidmatan Awam Negeri.

Tangani Aduan Dengan Segera – Tingkat Imej Perkhidmatan Awam

Dari semasa ke semasa Perkhidmatan Awam akan menerima pelbagai aduan. Ada yang berbentuk mengkritik dan ada juga yang membina. Apapun jenisnya, setiap aduan perlu ditangani dengan segera.

Pembangunan Kemudahan Awam Fokus Utama Majlis Daerah Marudi


Antara projek utama tersebut ialah pembinaan sebuah perpustakaan awam Marudi yang baru dan Kompleks Sukan Marudi. Menurut Setiausahanya, Encik Francis Liew Shong Lee, kedua-dua projek tersebut dilaksanakan untuk memberikan keselesaan di samping memberikan kemudahan kepada masyarakat di sekitar Marudi.

SMK Merapok, Lawas Embarking on a Journey of Educational Par Excellence

Out of a total sum of RM26 billion allocated under the 8 th Malaysia Plan for educational purposes, RM678 million was channelled to Sarawak.

Lawas Sports Complex Upgraded

There are various government development projects which the Lawas District Council have implemented under the 8th Malaysia Plan. Amongst these is the Lawas Sports Complex. Built in 1998 and completed in September 2000, the modern complex cost RM3.9 million. It is one of the efforts of the Council to uplift the standard of sports locally as well as nationally.

An estimated one-third or 30% of the country’s coastline is now badly damaged by erosion. If efforts were not taken fast to arrest the problem, the country could eventually lose a big portion of its beaches. Land reclamation, rampant destruction of mangrove swamps and natural shifting of tides and wind had caused the massive erosion.

Lembaga Air Sibu Laksanakan Projek Bekalan Air 2005 dan Rancangkan Projek 2006


Sebanyak lapan (8) buah projek utama telah dilaksanakan oleh Lembaga Air Sibu dalam tahun 2005 untuk meningkatkan perkhidmatan bekalan air kepada penduduk Bandar Sibu.

Reviving Bau Into A POPULAR TOURIST DESTINATION


A Tourism Action Task Force is being formed to assist the Tourism Ministries at both State and Federal levels to promote Bau District in Kuching as a popular tourist destination. The elected representatives comprising MP for Mas Gading Datuk Dr. Tiki Lafe, Tasik Biru assemblyman Peter Nansian Ngusie, and Bengoh assemblyman Dr. Jerip Susil, felt that the town is getting less popular than the border outpost of Serikin.
